RAPHAEL (Aella Chastain)

Naval officer on her way home from her final tour overseas. Stopped at a roadside accident to save an injured woman’s life – that injured woman just happened to be a Hydra agent, who was so impressed by her savior that she suggested her for the program. Aella was abducted from a cafe front in broad daylight, where she was waiting to share lunch with the woman she had saved.

ARIEL (Carsen Meir)

Son of a deceased member of the order, who made it abundantly clear that she wanted her children inducted into the program when they were of age. Carsen was raised by grandparents who had no knowledge of their daughter’s involvement with Hydra, and they were killed when he was taken in only a year before his graduation from college. He was attending school to become a physical therapist.

SEALTIEL (Liam Haight)

Minor CIA operative captured while on an overseas mission. Incidentally, he was the hardest member to capture but one of the easiest to condition during the project. The CIA has written him off as a casualty and stopped investigating his disappearance three years after he vanished.

URIEL (Nikolai Hix)

US Marine, captured and taken as a POW during the conflict in the middle east. Recovered by Hydra agents when they stormed the compound he was being held in. He was convinced he was saved, and had no idea what was in store for him. Treated for his injuries and nursed back to health, then promptly thrown into the project.
